March 26,2010~Friday Night Practice was going great until the transmission blew. One phone call to Cottman Transmission and JR met Gregory, and John at Cottman Tranmission in Portland. Another transmission was put in, it was a late night, JR had a "date" night, which I think he might have been a bit late for. Sorry JR, but, we will make it up to you both I promise! Maybe, with a win!! Seems like the same thing happened last year opening day.
Opening weekend at Waterford Speedbowl March 26,27 & 28, 2010 Waterford CT.
Plenty of changes this year at the speedbowl, officiating was the biggest change to the better I noticed, spotters have to be in the box altogether under the announcer's booth. Considering all the divisions that were there, it was very well organized. It was 32-34 degrees out and everyone was freezing!! The crowd must have been true race fans to be out in this type of weather, our team appreciates all the fans! Thank-you all!
.
Wow, We have made changes to the 25 truck over the 2009 winter getting it ready for the 2010 season! Dan decided to go with the number 33! We decided to change the color theme from the yellow to blue!

Tomorrow is raceday for the #25 at Waterford! Greg and Gregory got the engine in, Rich, Dan, are here to help out with the "loose ends" to make sure the truck is all set to go out on the track!
Gregory picked up the motor on Thursday April 30, from John all set to put in.
The 85 all set to race....
Gregory has been working very hard all winter long trying to get the two trucks and the Limited ready for racing, besides going to school. Good job Gregory.
Gregory painting the 85 truck, he is trying to make Waterfords Budweiser Modified National, this weekend the 28th & 29th http://speedbowl.com this year they will have a truck division.

The "new" front end, with all new parts. Getting ready......
The poor ol' 85 truck still undecided what to do, sitting in the snow.

Gregory has gotten almost all the work done on the Limited Late model for Stafford Motor Speedway. Gregory is making a decision on paint and upgrading anything on the car that has to be done as far as the rule changes from last year.

We say good-bye to another good car! If you know anything about these two guys, they have trouble getting rid of anything! BUT, when it comes down to cars that they have fond memories of and lots of hard work it is really hard ! This car is going back to race at Stafford Speedway as a Dare Stock, the driver will be Jeff Potter. We wish him the best and hope he has great finishes.
We bid farewell to the #25, the car that started Greg's racing career in the Super X division! It was with Greg's heavy heart, that it went down the driveway with its new owner: Paul Gruhn! We wish Paul all the best of luck with the car and we hope he has as much fun as we did with it. (Also, good luck with his wife, Donna, I wonder if she found it in the back of the barn yet?)
If any sponsors wish to discuss possibilities for the 2009 or 2010 season please email us: Butler85Racing@aol.com
