Race Finishes 2005 Super X - April 28,2007 Limited Late Model

June 20, 2008 Stafford Motorspeedway, Well, they started out with 20 cars.  Greg had to start in the back again,  because of the handicapping of not going every week ( scheduling differences ARTS trucks).  In the first lap some of the drivers tried to go 3 wide in turn 1 as seen in the past which hasn't worked out too well. In turn 3 they caused a car to spin this is all happening in lap 1. Too early in the race for that kind of racing ... then in turn 1 they were pushing 4 wide, when the 25 car blew his motor it was the 1st yellow,  the next yellow was for a pile up in the area where the car lost his motor... there must have been oil on the track.....??? Gregory did a hellava job avoiding that pile up.. Gregory passed a driver on the outside on turn 2, and the driver ended up getting loose, in a soap opera fashion to bring out a caution (which didn't happen) that driver intententionally went after Gregory and got in the side of him and came down in front of him, which caused him to get hit from behind.  When he plowed through and left that car in the dust and continued on after that, he hadn't realized that it caused his tire to get damaged, in between 1&2 the tire let go and he hit the wall. When Gregory tried to get down to the pits the other driver came to Gregorys drivers door and was right at his side, he said he wanted to take that driver out so bad but he has higher racing standards then that kind of racing. What has happened to staying in your line until the car passes and not cutting down into cars on purpose.  This is not the first time this has happened with this driver. It seems to me that if you just run in the back of the pack like a Sunday driver you will end up with a top 10 finish and drive the car up in the trailer. But, then will you really be racing??? But... you can say you are a race car driver, but at least race a clean, fun race. like the good ol' boys. 8 cars finished.

During the rain delay we had a rainbow, I thought it would be a good night of racing...... Boy what a night .... WAS IT A FULL MOON????

Friday the 13th! June13, 2008 Finally got back to Stafford! Between conflicting schedules and raining we finally got to race!
Gregory was having a good race!  He avoided a pile up in front of him in turn 2 that took out a few cars.   During the yellow caution he started to smoke and overheat.  He had to pull off into the infield with 5 laps to go. He was in the 13th position at that time. He finished 18th. The problem was found and fixed,  timing cover seal broke, ready to race this weekend June 20, 2008!

Thank-you all for checking in on the site!  We also would like to thank all of our sponsors for all of their support this year! We all have enjoyed this year, through all the ups and downs, all the hard work, disappointments and high points we all have "worked together and won together", made a lot of new friends and kept the "old ones" too!, our "family" has worked hard together at the track and at home!   We thank each and everyone who has touched Gregory's life in a positive way, clapped or waved to Gregory on and off the track, while we were riding in the trailer, people giving the thumbs up sign, anyone who has worked on the car with him, especially those of you at the track, when we really needed to get back out there and you were right there, well wishes from family and friends and especially our crew ! We have tried to make our sponsors proud not only on the track, but in our actions! Thank-you all so very much ~ Butler MotorsportsRacing

We congratulate Sean Foster for the Championship  for the 2007 season.

Rich Hammann  from the SK Lights came over to congratulate Gregory on his heat race win. That's what I mean about comrade between some of these racers! It's really nice to see!

June 29th ~ Greg won his heat race! Happiness!  Came in 9th in the feature race. Gregory was so excited! We were so excited, Stafford seems to be a hard track to get used to racing at!

April 28 2007~ All set for the Spring Sizzler! First race of the season and we all feel pretty good!

Before putting the number and decals on!  This was just in time  for the Spring Sizzler at Stafford Speedway on April 28th 2007. We were up late putting on all the sponsors, #85, and our motto:
"We work together, We win together"!

All the welding was done by Gregory, he has become a "Jack of all trades". He and his father built this car. They both have learned alot about building and setting up race cars. They agree that there is a ton more to learn.

2006~ Winter Project ~ Limited Late Model for Stafford Motor Speedway, CT ~ Parts is Parts! When they said they were going to build a car from the ground up they really meant it! As you saw in the HISTORY page there was a lot of time and work done in time for the Spring Sizzler at Stafford.

April 28, 2007 ~  Blew the engine at practice before race, Not wearing in sooo nicely now! Decided to concentrate our efforts with the Stafford Car.  Hopefully, we will be back to racing two cars again.

Waterford Speedbowl Finishes for 2007 season!
April   1, 2007 ~ 18th Flat tire near the end spoiled a good run.

April 14, 2007 ~  7th We made a few adjustments to a new motor for this year, good run. April 21, 2007 ~  5th Motor starting to wear in nicely, starting the new season off good.

2006- The front car is the "Stafford" car, you can't race the same car at either track because they have different rules,engines,set-ups and totally different tracks.  This was the year he was getting used to the track at Stafford, most of the other drivers had the newer style body styles, we called ours the "tank"  It is much older and heavier compared to the other cars, but the car and Gregory did 110% and ended up putting up a good fight over all! His father and he decided to build a new car from the ground up over the winter!

2006 Season Gregory raced at Waterford Speedbowl in the Sportsman Division, and part time at Stafford Motor Speedway, to get used to the track for next season. He came in with three top fives and seven top ten finishes with one win at Waterford and a top ten at Stafford, for his second year of racing!  He will be racing the number 85 Limited Late Model, and the Sportsman Division at Waterford also number 85 full time at both tracks!.

2005 Gregory's first racing car!  All painted! Two top fives, four top tens and "Rookie of The Year" at Waterford Speedbowl in Waterford CT.

The start of it all!
